Composed entirely of fallen timber collected from the arid landscapes of Sharjah, this dry-fit seating piece foregrounds the natural irregularity and individuality of each branch. The timber elements are wrapped with Kvadrat Febrik’s knitted textile, exploiting the fabric’s stretch, memory, and gentle tactility to act as a flexible sheath. Rather than force uniformity, the knit embraces the natural curvature and form of each wooden limb, creating soft tension and moments of compression across the structure. No adhesives or fasteners are used; instead, the chair relies on the friction and interlocking of its components, resulting in a composition that is both provisional and resilient, an assemblage shaped by wind, weight, and weave.
